For her BFA from Parsons in 1990; she took graduate level painting, model drawing and fashion illustration to round out her formulative art education.
An art history class at Parsons is where she first became enamored with the style of abstract art and while living in NYC she began to explore the greatest contemporary artists in the world and her love for abstract expressionism bloomed.
Fast forward past her early fashion design career, and the development of her interior design consulting firm; Stephanie found herself wanting to pull out her paints and canvases again and opened her first professional art studio at The GoggleWorks Center for the Arts in Reading, PA in 2007.
In 2012, Stephanie decided to combine her talents under one roof and formed a new entity to house all that she does in the creative space which became Stephanie Rado Taormina Interiors & Art, LLC.
In 2015 Stephanie launched her fashion brand; Have Some Fun Today and has actively ran her
e-commerce brand for the past 10 years.
During the Covid era the paints came out again slowly over time and when she & her partner Jay took an apartment in the west Chelsea neighborhood of NYC, the art bug came out full force as her fashion brand is finding its feet and Stephanie has been able to dig into her art from a new space in her life.
Stephanie Is currently participating in group shows in NYC & PA and is working on a new body of work to visually convey the energy & stimulation of Magic and how it manifests in our lives.
